If it weren’t enough that Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA), Santa Monica is releasing arguably the biggest video game trilogy finale of this decade in March next year with God of War III, sources indicate there’s more in store.

John Hight is Director of Product Development at SCEA Santa Monica, where he’s worked for the past 4 years and 7 months. Just recently, this interesting little nugget surfaced in his Linkedin profile.

For those still skeptical as to whether this is the same SCEA Santa Monica, they can refer to Hight’s profile page at the University of Southern California School of Cinema Arts (where he currently teaches), where it explicitly states “Hight oversees external production for Sony in Santa Monica. He is currently working on games for PlayStation 3 for retail distribution under Sony’s new e-Distribution Initiative.” In fact, judging from the last sentence, it’s wholly possible that this title may be distributed online through Sony’s Playstation Network, much like his earlier released title, flOw.
