Is Echoshift the New Name for Echochrono/Replay?
Filed under: Gaming News and Reportage No Responses
At E3 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment of America revealed the sequel to their innovate PS3/PSP monochrome puzzler Echochrome, titled Echochrono. You play through the game as a specific character but when you encounter puzzles you can’t solve alone, time will rewind to allow the character’s past self (or selves, depending on the puzzle’s difficulty) to help you out. The game was to be released as Echochrono in North America and under the title Replay in Europe. However, a recent trademark reveals a new title, “Echoshift” currently in production. There’s been no word yet from SCEA on whether this is a brand new title but most likely, it’s a new name for Echochrome/Replay.
