3D Realms Employees Head to Volition, Gearbox, Epic Games among others

george-broussard3D Realms faced a severe financial crush and a subsequent lawsuit from Take Two Interactive leading people to assume Duke Nukem Forever was cancelled. “The House that Duke Built” answered by announcing that several of it’s developers had departed but the company was under “readjustment”. George Broussard subsequently revealed that employees from 3DRealms have moved on to work for id Software, Lightbox, Epic Games, Volition, Gearbox, Guerrilla Games and Sony. Keeping your friends close but your enemies closer? A long overdue sane decision? Let’s hope their experience for DNF doesn’t carry over in this case.
