Konami’s Negligible 360 Support: Why MGS5 Will Stay on PS3
Filed under: Feature, Game Reviews and Opinion 54 Responses
If Valve is the anti-PS3, then meet the slightly less but ultimately anti-360 developer. Konami has been making the rounds lately with their teasing announcement of the next Metal Gear Solid. The rumours have already begun flying on whether the game will focus solely on Raiden or if it will be set between the main games of the series. In short, it’s doing just what every MGS game has done before and it hasn’t even been revealed yet.
Though it wasn’t blatantly spelled out, it’s most definite that the company will continue providing their most A-list titles to consoles other than the 360. Looking at development history and recent financial earnings besides looking up past fiscal reports, it’s not too hard to predict the unlikeliness of Metal Gear Solid 5 (working title) ever coming to the 360.
Konami’s Consolidated Financial Reports for the 2nd Quarter of 2009 (from April to September 2008) are optimistic but it’s the projected 2009 forecast that’s most interesting. The company reported 330 billion yen in net revenues with about 38% of their total sales coming from the PS3 and a measly 3% from the Xbox 360. The reason for this is obvious: Metal Gear Solid 4, released exclusively for the PS3. An MGS title released only on the PS3 accounts for the lion’s share of the company’s earnings. So hasn’t history clearly demonstrated that Konami can release the MGS5 for a single console and gain more revenue per units manufactured?
“But there’s a first time for everything, right?” would be the typical response. Why don’t they just release the next MGS in countries outside of Japan like Square-Enix is doing for Final Fantasy XIII? Konami has stated it before for MGS4, that this kind of game is only possible on the PS3 with the power of Blu-ray. Is there an audience for Metal Gear Solid titles on the 360? Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance was released originally for the Xbox but quickly made it’s way to the PC and PS2 – a trend Konami didn’t repeat with MGS3: Subsistence. People can argue that it’s not necessarily because of financial failure, but that’s just diverting from the main topic which is: Konami has not released a single canonical Metal Gear Solid title for any console other than the PS2 and PS3 after Substance. Even non-canon games like Metal Gear Ac!d and Portable Ops are exclusive to the PSP. Hell, the Nintendo Gamecube got a remake of MGS1 with Twin Snakes. The Xbox and subsequently the 360 got nothing.
But this policy is not simply limited to the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Konami has always released it’s best titles on consoles besides Microsoft’s. The DS had Lunar Knights, Suikoden Tierkries and the Castlevania games. The PS2 had Zone of the Enders, Suikoden, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness. The PS3 has Metal Gear Online and Metal Gear Solid 4. The last Konami game on the 360 to receive great coverage was Silent Hill: Homecoming…and that was a multiplatform title. The less said about Rumble Roses XX and Bomberman: Act Zero, the better.
It’s not simply that Konami has had better luck on other consoles. “Luck” completely undermines the amount of support and core audience they developed in Japan for Sony’s consoles through the release of titles like Winning Eleven and Dance Dance Revolution. Titles that, despite coming to Microsoft’s consoles outside of Japan, enjoy their most dedicated support and revenue from their home region. Some may scoff at the thought of DDR maniacs immediately partaking in MGS, but that’s not the point.
The point is: Konami stayed loyal to a user base and with this new generation, where other seasoned devs are scrambling to find their bearings amongst mergers and multi-platform releases, that loyal base is carrying them through. The immense support shown for the PS2, PS3, DS and PSP is paying them back in spades. Konami knows that it’s too risky to begin cultivating a 360 audience at this point when it can rely on its older guns and profit more. As much as people will speculate, Metal Gear Solid 5 or any MGS title coming to the 360 in the future is highly unlikely, if not near impossible.

i totally agree with you and Kojima is also involved, he will definatly keep it a PS3 exclusive.
How is producing a game for the 360 not staying loyal? Do console owners really care if a company makes more money by releasing a game on multiple consoles? Now MOVING the game to the 360 would be disloyal, but permitting a wider audience to enjoy a game is being loyal to all gamers, not just owners of one consle. After all, do you really think fans of MGS will not buy MGS 5 if it’s released on multiple consoles? Tha would be silly.
This whole loyalty thing is for fanboys and fanboys only. It makes no financial sense to keep profits low by only catering to a smaller section of the gamers.
I can see where you are coming from but I disagree. Many thought the same thing with Devil may Cry and then they released it simultaneously on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and it did very well on the Xbox 360. Almost as much as the PS3 and this is coming from the fanbase that was only on the Playstation before that. You see, the example of the Xbox version of MGS is a poor comparison. It was ported later and was inferior and the install base was much smaller. MGS could do well on the Xbox 360, they just need to give it a fair shot.
that’s because konami carries the same sentiment most older japanese companies like to show-which is support for the japanese console. Konami clearly shows favortism to it’s fellow japanese company Sony. Clearly they dont support xbox because it is an American made sytem. Realistically, MSG2 Substance was graphically superior to the PS2 version, but nobody seemed to notice or care. Whatever.
Since MSG is Kojima’s it will stay a PS3 exclusive. I have to wait for the PS3 to come down in price so i could play this game.
@kevin
yes the visuals were slightly better on the xbox for substance, but the slowdown (that wasn’t present in the ps2 version) was horrible and frequent, which everyone did seem to notice and care about
I only own a PS3 and I don’t care if MGS goes to the 360 or not. Who should care but fanboys, which you sound like? They are great games, let everyone play them.
Why release it on the 360? Konami makes plenty of $$$ keeping it a PS3 exclusive. plus making it on two platforms would cost more anywayz. plus if (it wont) it went to the 360 the uproar would be enormous. we (PS3 owners) dont need anothe SE. screw them.
i hope no MGS game ever comes to any non-PS system. if that happens Konami and Kojima will have my respect and more importantly my money for life.
@ Kevin
Are you for real is the IPhone and Apple a Japanese company??? Then how do you explain the release of the game for the IPhone???
The only reason Konami and Kojima are sticking with the PS is very simple they only choose to deal with the best available of each world, PS3 for consoles IPhone for portable devices etc.
360 love it when the PS3 loses exclusives….But they would all go jump off a cliff if they lost Halo (lets just say it somehow happened) or Gears
They always are so supportive of PS3 devs who might go multi-plat…But would demolish any 360 dev who thought of goin to PS3
Portable Ops is Canon, you’ve made your own argument invalid =/.
“People can argue that it’s not necessarily because of financial failure, but that’s just diverting from the main topic which is: Konami has not released a single canonical Metal Gear Solid title for any console other than the PS2 and PS3 after Substance.”
Konami only chooses the best available? Then that would mean the PC would it not? That would mean the Xbox last generation and it’s standard hard drive and more memory would it not? This is all about being xenophobic and staying loyal. It’s the same reason David Jaffe stays on the Playstation and Insomniac. It has little to do with the hardware. The reason why Kojima is looking to the West is because the PS3 has failed to generate a big install base in Japan. So that would mean the Xbox 360 would be a great platform to generate Western interest more than just the PS3. If he really wants to open up his Western appeal he’ll make it on both consoles for the next game. However Sony knows the IP is too big to give up so they will do whatever it takes because it’s one of the few IP’s left only on the Playstation that has any impact from 3rd party sources. FF and DMC and other IP’s have now switched over. I guess Konami is one of the few still playing the tradition loyalty card. Capcom has become very prosperous by making their games multi-platform now and making good games.
I think, this is no time for stick around 1 console. Some games will be exclusive to 360 n PS3. As a gamer, problem is, have to buy both. well, we don’t have an option. think about MS4 . if you want to play this, u have to buy PS3 since U have only 360. same goes to Gears of War. If MS4 released and I play on my 360, I don’t care if it was PS3 or Wii. I am a gamer but a fan or loyal to MS or SONY. that’s way, I bought 360 coming from a PS2 owner. True gamers shouldn’t be a Fanboys to one console. Becoz they lose 50% good games. lol
good point Levlehead
the reason that he pick ps3 is for the space and more powerful even if its only a little more powerfull. plus sony has been great to them cant realy blame them for being loyal can ya? i think the reason he don’t do computers is because of the constant changing in hardware.
K @ LevleHead
“The PS3 has failed to generate a big install base in Japan …” Where did you get this info?? Check your stats buddy, the PS3 is doing FAR better in Japan than the 360. Most third party supporters who make exclusives for Sony have performed well while at the same time push their development skills forward as there are less restrictions for the platform. Just look at MGS4. It’s not about loyalty, all developers want that prestige of making a kick ass game as Killzone, Uncharted, and MGS4 and as you’ve all probably heard, these games CANNOT be done on other consoles. Call me a fanboy if you want, I don’t really care, but all I’m saying is sure they can still make really good games multiplatform (COD4 = <3) but they can go the extra step with PS3.
I always been a Playstation-owner only and I live in Canada, Quebec..and all my friends are just like me, We’re no Playstation fanboys but…It’s the Playstation brand name who gave Square-Enix , Capcom and Konami a big name like that!
Konami decided to stay true and loyals to Sony and his fans. The only reason why Capcom and Square-Enix decided to greatly support the Xbox 360 , it’s because they really want a wider audience … They just want to be well-known as before … when they released Final Fantasy VII … that game was well-received by everyone!! And since they released crappy games …
I didn’t like Final Fantasy XII and Dirge of Ceberus…and now , they want to have that name they had before as great game developers…So they tried to do western-style game!! Capcom —> Dead Rising , Lost Planet just to name a few
if thats what konami chooses to do then its their choice. im just tired of all the corn ball ass fanboys running their mouth about the 360 not being able to run the game because of the storage medium. blu ray is awesome but i have been playing disc based systems since the sega cd and i have had several games that came on more than one disc. it wasnt a problem then and it wont be one now
its better PS3 Exclusive.. for the simple fact it’ll be much smaller & lower quality if it was multiplatform…
You didn’t address any of my points Eggo. If it’s all about the best hardware then why not support the Xbox to the fullest last generation or the PC? If it’s to do with the lack of Japanese support and the lack of it in Japan (on Xbox consoles) then why all of the sudden mention a shift to the West so much? The point is MGS4 didn’t even sell 1 million copies in Japan. In fact over 3 million were sold elsewhere. The Xbox 360 has a bigger install base outside of Japan. As we can see with other games known to the Playstation franchises that come from Japan like Devil May Cry and Ace Combat they have sold well on the Xbox 360. Even Square is bringing FFXIII to the Xbox 360 and many thought that game wasn’t possible on the Xbox 360. The reason why Konami hasn’t ported it or won’t port MGS4 is because of talks behind closed doors. MGS4 would easily sell 2 million copies on the Xbox 360. Sony doesn’t want to lose that IP and Microsoft doesn’t want to lose the Gears of War IP. MGS4 is possible on the Xbox 360 but it would come out on about 4 DVD’s.
This is about good relations, nothing more. So anytime you hear Insomniac, Guerilla and all the other developers who are making PS3 only games and then spouting off only possible on the PS3, how the hell do they know? They haven’t made any Xbox 360 games or PC games. They are PR for Sony and they have been doing this for a long time. Did they say the PS2 was the most advanced last generation and how that platform was the only one able to do their games justice while they kept neglecting the Xbox?
From a business standpoint MGS should go to the PC and Xbox 360 as well. From a fanboys perspective…well who gives a rats ass about their perspective.
Its disturbing that LevleHead has more common sense than the author of this flamebait fanboy fodder of an article.
But of course it wont, like an earlier post said, there’s no reason why Konami really hasnt supported MSFT other than their xenophobia. I wish Metal Gear would come to X360 in any capacity, a remake, a remake of a remake, a whole new chapter?(I know im pushing it….) but something…
Now can every one calm down especially u LevlHead u sound so much like those Dreamcast era fans that was saying the same blah, blah when PS2 all of sudden started steamrolling the comp with innovative titles that span different genres wich r now most multi-plat it would really suck for MS if those titles were not multi-plat. So my point is that MS is lucky they got money to burn like that cause I mean look
@ wha happened 2 SEGA. Just saying it really doesn’t matter its just a plastic box with wires play your games on your console n be happy with what u have n quit blaming Sony or whatever company has what u want that’s hating.
Konami is stupid to not put out the MGS games on the XBox 360. They could be making around twice the profit. Especially with all the hype around MGS4, if they put a director’s cut out now on the 360 they would probably make a ton of money on it. Who cares if it is on 4 discs.
Kevin,
You don’t know anything about Japan. I’ve been there 5 times. They don’t favor Japanese made products (iPod is huge over there). They do like fancy pieces of hardware though, and sadly X360 is not the top dog in that respect. They also like gimmicks (Wii). It has nothing to do with X360 being American, trust me.
Japan is becoming increasingly more irrelevant as an install base every year waffle, get over it.
@LevleHead
It’s not just relations, the 360 is showing its age, you cannot honestly deny that anymore. The console would not be able to play MGS4, anyone with an HDTV and MGS4 can attest to that, if they are not being blind that is. The attention to detail in that game is ridiculous and the graphics were not slashed too bad, (Snake’s stache could be stache-ier) but the point is, the PS3 is growing slowly and you just might be seeing this more in the future. BTW insomniac is not a braggart company but Guerrilla Games sure is, they deserve to be though. Oh and SE still has Final Fantasy Versus XIII exclusive to PS3 owners Lowtan.
LOL, those that say it can’t be done on the 360 are kidding themselves!!! Look at the hardware, the 360’s capable of doing what the PS3 can do and even more in some cases. The internals of the 360 when done right will out perform the PS3, look at RE5??all comparisons have said it is very close graphically, but the 360 has won each time. and no it wasn’t a port. Capcom had seperate teams for each console..
The only problem with the 360 for MGS4 is disc space and even that can be lowered by giving 360 owners compressed video. Any developers that says it can’t be done on the 360 are just lazy, it can be done !!! they just couldn’t be bothered with shrinking everything down… Lost Odyysey is a pure example of what can be done over a span of 4 discs without compromise !!!!
@ Mark if Japan is becoming irrelevant why is it that when Japanese games that r jumping ship to your RROD-E74 box u guys spell disaster for Sony n praise MS for it. Gaming would really be irrelevant with no Steet Fighter, Mario, MGS series, ick, SOTC, etc.
@levlhead,Mark,Kevin anyone reading these comments section. These 3 right here r perfect examples of misinformed or confused Microsoft fanboys. If u want a crash course on how to blindly hate on s*it all u have to do is get a keyboard type some BS called your opinion n pass it on as fact in a comments section of a gaming website. See these chimps just type away letting whatever they have left for a brain come up with fantasies that don’t apply to the real world. Oh n the DMC4 sales comparison that u made is flawed because looking @ install base of each console @ that time for each (PS3,360) console the 360 version should have blown PS3’s sales out the water but it didn’t they were pretty even n if u look @ attach rate of PS3 with DMC4 it was also better for an install base that is smaller than 360’s. Come on Microsoft fanboys spin, spin, spin.
@levlhead, Mark , Kevin u guys really hating bad. The reason the original XFLOP was neglected was because most of the big (keyword) CONSOLE not PC devs were weary of doing games for MS console or a company that’s been in some of the biggest anti-trust lawsuits. See one key difference is that in Japan companies have moral ethics. Look @ some of the most popular companies of Electronics. None say Microsoft cause they do software. My point is that if I want the best that console gaming has to offer Hardware or (console) gaming wise I go to the best in the industry Nintendo n Sony why cause they make their own games not buy them n slap a Microsoft logo on it looking @ u Bioshock n Ninja Gaiden 2.
If mgs5 came out on ps3 I would buy it. If mgs5 came out on xbox 360 I would download it for free. plain and simple. if konami wanted to make money only have it for ps3. at least you will get to play it for awhile, my xbox keeps red ringing. Bill gates is an asswhole!!!!!
no loss to me ive played metal gear solid and would say i did not enjoy any of the games so i doesnt really worry me. i would not class it as a aaa title anyway.
asswhole?
thanks i needed a good laugh.
yes he is a ass hole but the 360 has nothing to do with him.
hes the head, 50 bucks says if you asked him what the E74 errors or the RROD are caused by he wouldent have the slightest clue.
but for the record FFXIII is ps3 exclusive in japan thats been known since E3 2008 when the game was revealed for 360.
I hope it stays exclusive b/c exclusives are almost always of a higher quality than multplatform games. Only having to concentrate on one console is always easier for a developer and I’m not so sure Kojima is a huge fan of the 360’s architecture. If Blu-ray wasn’t big enough, there’s no way DVD9 will be.
There is a much simpler reason it will stay PS3 exclusive – MGS5 will more than likely use a tweaked version of the MGS4 game engine which has already been written, so financially it makes more sense to re-use this game engine and realease a PS3 exclusive than to build the Xbox360 engine from scratch and go multiplatform.
@nick dude FFXIII versus is the PS3 excluysive he was refering to. Ive been in many arguments of this game coming to Xbox 360.
And lets be realistic. Many PS2 owners converted to Xbox 360 (me myself included) to get a cheaper and yet a +/- eqaul powered console. What Kojima doesnt realize is, many MGS fans are on Xbox 360 , and aren’t gonna go out of they’re way buying a $500 PS3 just to enjoy that experience.
And Konami knows the demand for MGS4 on 360 was high but ignored it anyways. Its one thing to make a game worth playing, but another to just neglect a majority of the same fanbase just o be “loyal” or so you all claim
Yes, that totally makes sense!
Let’s just ignore the fact that Konami stated that all their future games will be multiplatform, the fact that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was exclusively released on the XBLA service with great sales and critical acclaim, and the fact that both the Wii and the PS3 didn’t enjoy a wide support this generation, with less title support then the X360 while the X360 usually had better multiplatform versions (for example: DDR and PES).
The only thing notable this Generation from Konami was Metal Gear, and the only reason it came exclusively to the PS3 was because Kojima thought the Sony will deliver a very powerful system that will enable him to fulfill his vision, and he was wrong about it (as he stated himself several times). The next MGS will probably be wither multiplatform, or another iphone title…
Cry xboxfanboys..you will NEVER play any MGS in your Xplode 360 in this GEN…
[uaehauehauehauehaeuhaeuhae]
@Guy@ Sorry..but you are WRONG…
xplode360 is a trashbox…
PSN>>>>> Xplode Live (or dead)
FACT
Valve and Konami are rather different topics to broach on one is a developer and the other a publisher. Valve is only anti PS3 cause its Ex Microsoft. Konami did release a couple of games on the original Xbox Castlevania which is a rather coveted series also made its way onto the Xbox, No multiplatform game ever sold highly on the original Xbox, so ports were far and between.
MGS4 never came onto the 360 cause MS did not want to partake in the development cost for the game and hence never got released, plus the mammoth number of cutscenes and disc space seemed ridiculous to put the game spanning across 6 discs, although Disc swapping would have been an easier option than load times at every corner of the game. MGS4 would have been a a killer showcase of PS3 technology had it been able to do all the action via cutscenes without relinquishing control from the players hand which Killzone 2 fantastically does.
Fanboyism apart, MS exclusives sold more than MGS4 and Resistance 2(Read Crappy Buggy n^n patched Gears of War 2 and rehashed Floppble 2).
Konami needs to go Mul plat cause the pic of the global economy aint pretty good, bigger publishers like E.A are already pushing mul plat or charging exorbitant prices to stay exclusive(timed), only ray of hope are Sony’s AAA exclusicves, anyone for a dish of Naughty dof?
sales have been very scarse for konami ever since their next gen his appearance and thats in no way microsofts fault. its only kojimas fault for spending so much time on a game (MGS4) that he wasn’t satisfied with. to me i don’t blame him when MGS3 snake eater was a better pakage. but as far as kojima goes he said he’s just gonna for now explore the multiplatform capabilities. plus metal gear solid 5 might not see the light of day on the 360 but microsofts next cosole is in the works right now so if this game is coming out i see a 2012-20015 release plenty of time for kojima to visualize his next MGS game. so yeah i see the next MGS5 as a multiplatform game since he himself at GDC said he’s not thinking about rehashing sequels…yet.
Look @ the end of the day its Kojimas decision hence the reason he madehis own production company (Kojima Productions) so he could have total control of his franchises, that’s why he can release games exclusively on whatever machine it is. Sorry to burst everyones bubble but no 3fixme is not as powerful as the PS3 just accept it n be happy u don’t have a WII.
The Cell is not just a processor it also handles graphics too. PS3 floating performance is 1.8-2.0 Teraflops while 360 Is @ 1.0 Teraflops. So that right there should indicate wich is more powerful my retarded 3 3fixme fans LOL.
@ME Son
the ps3 is not that far superior all multiplatform devs can confirm that. all it has going for it is disc space which most games fail to fill..to me a waste of blu-ray. soif i can buy the same exact game on 360 with more content i will since i only have 3 first party games on my ps3 (MGS4, UNCHARTED, AND KILLZONE 2). meaning all third party games (since most of the time are better on 360) and some exclusives not on that platform (ps3) are solely meant for my 360 do to the community and competitiveness i fail to get on the ps3. plus the ps3 has yet to surpass its 60% percent processing power so stats and specs are irrelevant here if its gonna take ten years to fully realize a console that shoulda ran at full potential to begin with…but you know sony always trying to set a standard and blu-ray is not a standard yet but HD will be and you don’t need blu-ray for HD or 1080p since most games barely run at 1080p native. lol…and if my 360 broke which i doubt it will but if it red ringed or any manufacturing failure accured it will be a free fix unlike sonys we dont believe you tactics where they tell ok we’ll look at it just send the console and $100 plus shipping and handling like it happened to my bro for a disc drive failure after his first week owning it..bad business if you ask me.
For me personally if a MGS5 comes out on PS3 and other Console i would’nt buy it, you know why? it show PS3 didn’t use enough capacity and power on a Blu-ray disk meaning less game play and less graphics. If MGS5 on PS3 exclusive then i would surely 100% would buy beacuse games represent for PS3 only are called Hardcore!!! Please guys tell me if my opinion is right.
@MustafX
yup you’re wrong because MGS4 didnt use the full capacity of the ps3…OH! sorry i mean a full blu-ray since both consoles can pump out equally impressive games and by what you’re saying a lot of ps3 owners have been wasting money since day one.
-a little tid bit for ya. if MGS4 has 90 minute cutscenes how much of the game are you really playing?….thats about 10-13 hours of actual gameplay so maybe 50GB wasn’t enough so maybe it’s true or maybe he just needs to go strictly PC.
OH..and 10-13 hours is pretty solid to me if the game is worth while reguardless of console capabilities but 90 minute cutscenes even though skipable and with no quick time events…not cool.
lol..this just in kojima in a microsoft press confrence…
” So why might Kojima be on hand for a Microsoft-themed press conference you ask? Schappert continued, “We’re honored to make this announcement in conjunction with Hideo Kojima himself in order to reveal that our next console is being built from the ground up with one purpose in mind – to run the next title in the Metal Gear Solid series.”

see i told yall fanboys the next metal gear solid 5 might not see the light of day on the 360 or PS3 so microsoft is getting their own metal gear solid like SONY with MGS4. i guess microsoft is thinking about development for developers not like sony trying to introduce new tech instead of getting feed back from devs as to what they would want in a console for them to develop hence blizzard wanting WORLD OF WARCRAFT on a console or just MMOs in general becoming a possibility and with the talks with microsoft that might become a realized soon. oh.. and in 2012 the 360 will be six years old like the ps2 before sony dropped the ps3 and in conjunction to 360 owners i see the 360 and the next xbox coincide like ps3 and ps2…i mean its not like ps1 has any games coming out so i see where microsoft went using the original xbox as stepping stone…sony did it to everybody gets their feet wet in some form or another.
well i figured i’d throw in some more facts as they come in keep fanboys on both sides of the field updated…PEACE.
no im posotive FFXIII IS NOT comming out in jappan on 360.
in europe and us and pal regions yes but not jappan.
and IF you truly are a MGS fan (im not but can apriciate the quality) you will buy a ps3 for it.
i bought a 360 for 500 bucks just for ninja gaiden 2 played it for 2 months than sold it on ebay for the same price plus shipping.
so i ended up making a profit and you could easily do the same thing with the ps3 if you can get things cheap like upgrade the HDD to a 800GB+ one that way you have a reason to increase the price i cant believe how much people are willing to pay for things as long as it comes with something that you wont get from retail.
@ nick
april fools kid…like i said before multiplatform devs can confirm that the ps3 is not that far superior and that some of the first party games on ps3 said not to be possible on the 360 are in some shape or form. 800GB HDD even tho’ nice mandatory installs are bitch.
Other than substance, no Metal Gear game has been released simultaneously on more than one platform. MGS was remade for GameCube as Twin Snakes and Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 appeared on PS2 over a decade after their original release, but that’s about it. The games only get developed for one platform at a time, and that platform will always be Playstation.
I believe that’s an imaginative way to constrew it. I never supposed guessed I’d see you say this, though, after all your other blogs about the iPhone.
