The interview was in October of 08'. With the realease of HL2 on Nov 16, 2004, Ep 1 at June 1, 2006 and Ep 2 at October 10, 2007 - that's a combined span of approximately 3 years. So - that would suggest a MINIMUM of 3 years until release. Using Ep 2's realease date, 3 years would place a possible release at October of 2010. Hopefully we will hear something by year-end. I am patiently waiting. It's going to be amazing I'm certain! Half Life 2: Episode 3 as of yet has no release date and Valve doesn't seem eager to update us yet. If you're itching for some Half Life 2 action though, there's the Black Mesa mod coming up in the next few months which recreates the entire first game using the HL2 engine.
