This from Edge: The sequel to Fallout 3 may be out in 3 years.

A Thursday Reuters report said Fallout 3 executive producer Todd Howard believes three or four years is a good span of time between sequels.

Great. So Fallout 4’s coming in 2011, right?

“I’d call that jumping to conclusions, and then some,” said Bethesda PR man Pete Hines in an e-mail to Edge.

In the report, Howard did say that he believed that the 10 years between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 was “a bit long,” however.

Fallout 3 releases for Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC on October 28. The game was due to be out in India on the same date but the release has now been cancelled.
