A few specs to help you level faster
You will have to respect (or respecialise, which can be done to going to any major town and speaking to your trainer, you may also speak to the city guards if you are unable to find a trainer) at 60 or 70, as you are most likely to adopt a different game play style. Expect to mess up on your first few weeks, mainly because you haven’t leveled your character from 1-70 but instead jumped 42 levels, it’ll take time, be patient.
Run into Gadgetzan, pick up the a quest called ‘Wastewander Water Pouches’, run east and kill a couple of Wastewander Rogues and Bandits, collect the 5 pouches and run back to Gadgetzan to hand in your quest.
Then run far east to Steamwheedle Port and pick up 2 quests called ‘Southsea Hats’ and ‘Something to kill 40 pirates whose names I cant remember right now’
Basically you have to kill 40 pirates - as the substituted name suggests.
Run south, along the coast line, skip the first mountain and run a little more till you reach the entrance to a cove. Go in and start killing them pirates! You’ll eventually reach the dock and hopefully by the time you’re done you’ll have the 20 pirate hats too.
Run back to the Steamwheedle, and hand in your quests. You should be around level 51 by now.
Optional Quest
Get back to gadgetzan and take the a portal to Undercity. If there isn’t a direct portal take it via Shattarath (you will have to run up to the Terrace of light). Once you reach UC, get out of the Ruins of Lordearon and go east to the Western Plaguelands, kill a few bears and spiders if it amuses you. As you run (or ride if you have the sense) down the road, you’ll find a farm to your right, you will also notice a few houses. Clear the mobs around the one on the left, enter, and run up the stairs on your left. You’ll find a ghost standing there who will give a quest. Its simple enough. Run back down, Kill the mobs near the second house, enter and right click on the diary on the floor.
Get to Orgrimmar, via Gadgetzan. If your hearthstone is on Cooldown (unuseable), hit the Red ‘?‘ button on your bar. Click on open a ticket > Issues that a GM can help you with > Stuck > auto unstuck. You should automatically get teleported to your hearth location.
Take the portal to Orgrimmar, jump of the landing and head towards the gate. You’ll find a portal to Karazhan, take it. If you’re lucky you won’t have a bunch of daft honor starved alliance outside, however if you aren’t you’ll probably die.
Once they get bored of you, mount up and run north, try avoiding the ogres and at the fork take the turn to the right. Keep running till you reach a T junction, here you turn right and move on into the swamp of sorrows. Keep along the road and go right again at the fork.
If all goes well you should be at the Blasted Lands. There will be 2 quest givers at a small campfire. Take their quests, kill the beasts and turn them in. You might have to explore a bit of the Blasted Lands to kill all the mobs in question.
You’ll also find a humanoid quest giver deeper in. He looks like a cross between the phantom of the opera and a hobo. He offers the same quest many times over but just do it once. Same with the Blood Elves’ quests. Once you get to around 59-60 run to the dark portal in the southern regions of the Blasted Lands. Take the quest from the Orc guy there to speak to somebody on the other side and run through the dark portal.
Congratulations! You’ve reached the Outlands! You get to visit in approximately 4 hours of gameplay while I had to wait for over a year *sulks*.
Right, so once you run through, don’t even THINK about engaging the mobs, they’ll probably one shot you. Instead finish your quest line, and run to Thrallmar, which I believe your quest requires you to do.
Follow the quest line to the one that takes you to the Caravan outside Thrallmar and finish that last quest. Also take the quest that requires you to bring Bonechewer blood. You’ll find in inside the main building, from one of the NPCs next to Nazgrel.
Take the FP (Flight Path). Run down southwest to Falcon Watch and the Bonestripper Tail feathers quest there and also pick up the ‘Helping Cenarion Watch’ quest. Run northwest to Cenarion Post, hand in the forementioned quest and do the ‘Boar blood’ and ‘Keeping Thornfang Hill Clear’ quests.
Pick up the ‘Cenarion Expedition’ quest too, run to the Cenarion Expedition and hand in the quest.
Do the Ancients quest, which is an instant, also pick up the What’s wrong at Cenarion Watch and Preserving Nature’s Balance (killing Boglash) quests. Before you kill Boglash, run to the Umbrafen Villages, north of Cenarion Refuge and pick up a quest at one of the huts from the penultimate village.
Kill boglash, run back to the refuge and turn in your quests. Run to Shattarath, which is north of Zangarmarsh (that’s where Cenarion Refuge is), follow the road and then turn right to Cenarion Thicket.
There should be a bull–human hybrid kind of guy (lovingly called Tauren) with a bunch of quest for you. The one called “Clues in the Thicket “is an instant by the way. Follow the quest line and you should be 69.
Now you can either sit around and grind (kill mindlessly) to 70 or mount up and ride to Shadowmoon Valley. Keep along the road or the demons might zomgwtflolpwnbbq (kill) you. Once you see Shadowmoon Village, run in and pick up the quest from the guy standing near the siege machine and another one from the Blood Elf dude standing near the post box (walk up the hill).
It essentially requires you to kill a bird man thingy for a few documents and a bunch of dinosaur kinda things for their spleens. So to find the aforementioned freak of nature, run east and past the Infernals and to the Skethelon Wreakage. Kill one of the bodies and you should find the 3 documents you’re looking for. Watch out for the Owls. They hurt. Also keep killing the felfire dimetradions.
Hand in your quests and… *drum roll* Congratulations!!! You’ve hit level 70!! Hearth, grab a portal to your major city of choice and learn all the spells the game has to offer.(class specific of course ha ha).
