I have both consoles and I agree with you most of the time I’m playing on my 360, I loved Uncharted but after finishing the first time I was not exited about playing it again. On the other hand I’m a big fan of on-line playing (specially FPS) and nothing gets even close to the 360 on that. So for now and until the big games for the PS3 are out and reviewed with 9s I’ll keep using my PS3 to watch movies and my 360 to play games.

I (somewhat) share your feelings although truth be told, the 360 outsold the PS3 in March. Analysts were predicting the PS3 would squeak out a win but the NPDs show the 360 was the one squeaking it out… worldwide numbers differ I’m betting.

That said, I _don’t_ share you views on the 360’s known upcoming titles. Yeah, I’m excited for Gears 2, but Fable 2 and Too Human don’t do anything for me. From what we “know” is coming, I think the 360’s upcoming exclusives are spread a little thin in terms of genres _and_ number of notable exclusives.

We’ll see as the year plays out… I doubt GTA IV or MGS4 will disappoint… Killzone may though… even so, given 2008’s exclusives… I’d rather be the one holding the list Sony’s got coming. People start caring less and less about back catalog games, and if Sony can make headway in getting a consistent string of top-notch games, they’ll get their groove back and things will (likely) slide their way again.

You know you are right about MGS3 and Killzone but they did come out well after console wars reached its peak…and around the same time as GTA IV which is why I still think MGS4 and Ninja Gaiden II in June is not such a good Idea…to much marketing risk both companies are taking…they still need E3 to bring their goods out…if they release these goods after E3 like they did with Halo and Heavenly Sword its just better in terms of sales…
