Welcome to the third and final part of our ongoing series on our interpretation of the meaning behind the Metal Gear story, where we’re trying to figure out what’s coming up in MGS4 and later installments based on what we’ve seen so far. The first part can be found here, and you can also read part two here, and then carry on:

Son’s of Liberty also clears things up about The Patriots - they are no longer confined by secrecy, but rather, they are out in the open with both Solid and Liquid (Via Ocelot) trying to hunt them down.

Since Liquid was unable to find the true identity of The Patriots, he turns the world into a battlefield on its own, so when the world is in chaos and shambles The Patriots will finally reveal themselves and his vengeance will be complete. This war that he wages brings out both Solid and a part of the Patriots’ next project.

The reformed FOXHUND unit is a part of the patriots plan again, and Meryl’s resurgence is because of the relation she shares with Solid Snake. Liquid’s feels that he will surpass the power of the Patriots once he kills all and another new world order will be established.

There are only 2 people in the entire series that have lived throughout the timeline in the series, ADAM and EVA a.k.a Ocelot and Big Mama. Ocelot’s body is being controlled by Liquid and Big Mama arrives to help out Solid Snake.

Y in the entire article refers to EVA all along, Portable Ops has all the central characters from Snake Eater returning, Soklov, Granin, Ocelot, Boss, Vologin…. everyone is mentioned or shown during the entire game expect EVA, but if you notice carefully she is shown or heard at the end, the person who Ocelot is speaking to at the end of P.O is none other than Big Mama. She is the one who actually convinces Big Boss to become a part of their team of the Patriots and Naked Snake has to agree because this is the league that The Boss left for him to look after. It’s family after all.

Solid Snake/The player will come to know about the entire conspiracy theory by the end of the game and realizes the only way to stop the Patriots one and for all is to destroy himself, because as long as he is alive the Successor project will not be shut down, he is the epicenter of the entire issue. His death and Liquid’s will bring about the end of the designs of the Patriots once and for all.But this will not happen because another “version” of Snake is already being created as we speak and we have seen him in a portable Metal Gear game.

There are three card packs available to the player that covers each of the major Metal Gear Solid games (the original, Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater)- “Solid Snake Simulation” in the process

“Solid Snake - The main character. A former member of FOXHOUND who has achieved legendary status, he is brought back to duty to infiltrate the Lobito Physics and Chemistry Laboratory compound. He is led to believed that he is actually Hans Davis, a researcher involved in the development of the new Metal Gear model.”

This game is set in 2016, whereas MGS4 is set in 2014, so the patriots do live on and the entire saga is set to continue. Acid 2 continues on the “Les Enfants Terrible II” project further on as the major note to make about this incarnation of the character is that he is not the “real” Solid Snake per se, but rather a full-grown clone of Solid Snake from the original Metal Gear Acid, created from cell samples taken from the Lobito Island incident. And that’s it from us folks, one last update in the series is due out soon, with a handy flowchart to make sense of everything that we’ve said so far, which we’ll give to you in a few hours.

Mazman

No no no no no.
Ac!d isn’t canon with the story of MGS. All that stuff about Hans Davis and the “real” Solid Snake only exists in Ac!d’s universe.

As for Eva being the mysterious contact, it’s possible - but unlikely, as in Portable Ops Gene says to Ocelot he reckons its “The man with the same code name as Null.” The closest thing to that description is Major Zero.. another person that never made an appearance in Portable Ops.

MAzman seems right, Acid was non canon with the meatl gear solid series. And “The man with the same code name as Null” is obviously not a woman. It makes more sense that that person is Major Zero, since he too knows Big Boss very well. If you look into Major Zero’s history-bio, you can see how he can relate to what we know about the Patriots. I mean Ocelot, Major Zero, and Big Boss have been there since the beginning too. And remember that Eva is on a continuous run for her life, as the Republic Of China is hunting her down.

RaZ

WRONG!
The person on the phon at the end is Major Zero “The man with the same code name as Null” Null=Zero.
Also it even tells you in the game about him having a scar on his left eye… That was Major Zero.

You got stuff wrong in your ‘part 2′ and now this, dont do anymore.
